La Roche-Posay Serozinc Spray

La Roche-Posay Serozinc Spray
As I mentioned in my last blog post, I am so into any skincare which takes minimal time out of my day to apply/remove.  I know I am incredibly late getting on the bandwagon with this product, but I recently decided to pick up the La Roche-Posay Serozinc spray during a mini Feel Unique splurge.

The product comes in a spray form, which I really like for applying with ease in the morning/evening after using my Micellar water.  It can be sprayed all over your face, however, I personally prefer to apply this using a cotton wool pad as it saves a lot of the product and avoids leaving excess on the skin to be dabbed off afterwards.
It's designed for oily, blemish-prone skin and it is also un-fragranced; I did pick up the Serozinc spray mostly based on it's hype in the blogosphere and in the hope that it would combat my acne (mostly around my chin area).  Despite the product not boasting that it can heal acne, I still had high hopes that it would do some good for me. After using this for several weeks, I haven't noticed a huge difference in my complexion, however I have continued to use it in the morning/evening as more of a 'freshen up' product.  It really does leave my skin feeling fresh after cleansing and I think it will be great to apply throughout the summer months.  It is designed to leave the skin feeling mattified & less greasy/shiny, and it does exactly that.

Have you tried the Serozinc spray?

  1. I felt the same about Serozinc at first, it didn't seem to do anything. Then I experienced a major breakout of cystic acne and this helped to soothe and reduce the size.

    1. I'm glad I'm not the only one that didn't notice anything straight away; I will keep at it as I am having the same outbreak at the moment and I'm hopeful that this will do the trick over time! x

    1. I think for 'normal' skin, it would be great! I'd still recommend giving a try over the Summer months :) x
