I will start by saying that this week has certainly been an exciting week for blogger mail. I was recently given the opportunity to test out Save on Make up's services by choosing a few beauty items from their collection. Prior to their outreach, I was not familiar with the brand but I think their website offers a great concept, particularly if you are perhaps looking for a high end gift for somebody or a treat for yourself. They offer a wide selection of beauty products for a fraction of the retail price, ranging from Estee Lauder to Clinique and Benefit to Elizabeth Arden ; some of the items do not come with the original outer packaging and others may be travel-sized items, which inevitably lowers the price of the product. I myself, am a little bit of a sucker for packaging, and I was excited to find that a few of my favourite brands' items came in the original packaging, this included Bobbi Brown's Rich Lip Color in the shade ' Old Hollywood'*. I'm also a typical blogger and I will never use a beauty product until I've managed to take a few snaps in the packaging and upload them to Instagram.

I recently found myself scrolling through old albums on my laptop when I stumbled upon a collection of photos I took when I visited the Harry Potter Warner Brothers studio tour last year. I always marvel at how many tourists travel from all around the world to pay a visit, and I literally only live 5 minutes away from the studios. Obviously, this gave me an excuse to visit twice last year. I enjoyed the second visit just as much as the first and I took one hell of a lot of photos each time, so I thought what better way to share them than in a blog post. Albeit, a year late!

Gosh, it feels good to be back with a makeup post. Every Sunday evening, I love nothing more than to kick back with a cup of tea and take part in the #bbloggers chat; this week's topic was discussing all things Autumnal, which could not have been a better choice in my eyes. I'm one of those people that enjoys rainy days and dark, cold evenings. Not to mention loving the 'stereotypical' Starbucks pumpkin spice lattes and all things festive.

When we first booked our trip to Rome, the main thing that I could not stop thinking about was all of the Italian food that we would be feasting upon. I am a major Italian food lover and I couldn't wait to consume my body weight in pizza, pasta and gelato goodness.
During our time in Rome, TripAdvisor became our best friend when scouring the city for the best food spots. As I've touched upon in previous posts, we stayed at the Montecarlo Hotel which was situated in Via Palestro, a 9-minute walk from Termini train station and an equally walkable distance to many of Rome's best food offerings.

Without a doubt, one of my favourite experiences during our trip to Rome, was being able to visit the Trevi Fountain. This had been one of the main things on my 'to do' list before-hand and ended up being one of the final things we did, paying a visit after grabbing a gelato each from our favourite gelateria on route (I will mention this more in my 'foodie' post but UHH, their chocolate orange gelato was the best thing EVER).
