Hello everyone, I hope you're all having a lovely Sunday so far and have enjoyed your Halloween weekend.  I absolutely love this time of year, what with all of the pumpkins in store, and cosying up with the darker evenings.  I also love the fact that Twitter has transformed overnight from Halloween posts to Christmas posts.. how crazy is it to think that Christmas is next month?!  Is it too early to visit Liberty and stock up on baubles?

I'm back with another beauty post featuring the second item that I was kindly sent by Save on Make up, as mentioned in my last blog post.  I am a real sucker for copper-coloured eyeshadows and I'm always on the prowl for a new warm-toned eyeshadow palette.  I already have the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette, but it's slightly too pink-toned for me.  I spotted the W7 'In The Buff' palette* on the Save on Make up website and couldn't resist giving this a whirl.  The shade range is great, with 'Buff' as a handy base colour and a variety of smokey & golden/copper shades on offer too.

I recently went on a date night to see Michael McIntyre perform at the SSE Arena (which, needless to say, was amazing) and I decided to test out a smokey eye look using this palette.  I tried out using 'Buff as a base coat and layered up with 'Storm', 'Silk' and 'Onyx'.  I was pretty darn impressed with the colour payoff, but the colours did crumble away slightly upon application.  That being said, it gave a really strong eye look for just a tiny fraction of the price of the Urban Decay palettes.  If you're looking for a product that won't break your bank, it's worth adding this palette to your collection.

As with the Bobbi Brown lipstick I featured in my previous post, the palette arrived very quickly and was fully sealed.  Save on Make up do from time-to-time resell tester products, but this was brand new upon arrival.  I was super impressed again with the service I received from Save on Make up and I will revisit their website to see what other items they have on offer in the near future.

Have you tried anything from Save on Make up? Or have you tried any of the W7 palettes?
