Whenever I'm browsing for eye makeup recently, I find myself forever gravitating towards golden/brown/copper tones and I think my NARS Isolde duo palette is to blame for setting off this love affair.  During a late-night online shopping session last week, I stumbled upon Zoeva's collection on Beauty Bay and found their 'Graphic Eyes' range of eyeliners.  Naturally, I looked for the golden shades first and found 'After The Disco', and there it went, into my shopping basket.

Aside from the NYX lip creams in my last post, I have not been this excited about a product's arrival in a long time.  The moment I took the eyeliner out of it's packaging, I was swatching it like crazy.  I didn't think it was possible to love a product so much and I would now even go so far as to label it as a 'holy grail' item, now that's saying something.  I mean, for starters, just look at how gorgeously rich and golden 'After The Disco' is in colour; in the above photos, I have only used one application of the eyeliner and that was all that was needed as it was so pigmented.  The eyeliner literally just glides on, without any colour flaking away and you do not need a steady hand for application either.  This would be perfect to use as an eyeliner or blended in towards the corners of your eyelids with a makeup brush to act as an eyeshadow instead.  It would make the perfect addition to any Summer makeup look too.

I really cannot find a fault in this eyeliner; in my opinion, the price is so affordable (currently £7.00 on Beauty Bay) and it feels like such a luxurious product on application; the shade range reminds me of the By Terry Ombre Blackstar collection, just in a pencil form rather than a rollerball applicator and at half of the price.  As much as I love the golden packaging of the Ombre Blackstar rollerballs, I'm also always a sucker for matte Black packaging so the Zoeva eyeliners instantly went into my good books..  it's the little things.

I am already itching to order my next colours from the Graphic Eyes range - 'Nude Reflection' and 'Myth', I'm looking at you.

What's your favourite Zoeva product? Have you tried any of the Graphic Eyes eyeliners?

  3. I've heard a lot about Zoeva, but never tried it. Is it on the high street or just online? I do love a gold eyeliner, I find good ones hard to come by and often the ones I love ended being limited editions over Christmas - which is so bloody annoying!

    1. I believe you can pick their products up in some Selfridges stores, but mostly online! I find that Beauty Bay is the easiest for browsing their range. I agree! I'd really recommend this one if you're on the hunt for a gold liner :) xx
