Well hello there. It's been a pretty darn long time since I last blogged but it sure feels good to be back.  If you're still reading this, thank you for sticking with me during my little Summer hiatus.  Although I may have been hiding away from the blogging front, by no means have I been missing out on giving my newest beauty and skincare purchases and samples a good run for their money.

Following a Twitter chat with Kiehl's, I received the most lovely parcel from them, containing the perfect combination of facial skincare products to complete a morning and evening routine.  Like with all skincare products I use, I like to fully put each item to the test (particularly when tackling my acne-prone skin) before sharing my thoughts on them.

I have very sensitive skin and I can struggle to find products that aren't too 'abrasive' for everyday use. As you will know by now, if you have read my past skincare posts, I usually tend to stick to Liz Earle and La Roche-Posay in my skincare routine as I know that their products are fragrance-free and work well with my skin, never leaving me with any nasty reactions to their lotions and serums. Having now used Kiehl's products for several months, I'm pleased to say that their products have been no exception to my daily skincare routine; I have found each product to be incredibly delicate on application, leaving my skin feeling nourished and refreshed.

Within my parcel, I received Kiehl's Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado*, Ultra Facial Toner*, Ultra Facial Moisturiser SPF 30* and Kiehl's Lip Balm #1*. Out of all of the products I received, the two which have had the most use have been the Creamy Eye Treatment and Ultra Facial Moisturiser; as the moisturiser was used so much in fact, I ran out of this within just a few weeks throughout the summer months (the added SPF was a major pro in the sunnier weather). With the Creamy Eye Treatment, I loved the fact that the product applied so gently and left my skin feel soft and rejuvenated in the mornings and evenings. Like with the rest of my facial skin, I am highly prone to reactions to products around my eye area and the creamy eye treatment never strayed from the orbital bone once applied or caused any irritation whatsoever. I also felt that my everyday eye makeup and concealer applied a lot smoother once I had been using the creamy eye treatment in the mornings.

I've recently been swapping out my Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic for the Kiehl's Ultra Facial Toner and have found that it fits perfectly into my routine. Although by preference, I do still like to remove a lot of my eye makeup and facial makeup with makeup wipes, followed up by a cleanser, I have instead been opting for a cleanser followed by the Ultra Facial Toner and it has been cooperating well with my skin.

I'm hoping to also get a lot more use out of the Kiehl's Lip Balm #1 throughout the Winter months; admittedly, I don't take a great deal of care when it comes to looking after my lips, but I have been using the Lip Balm on days when I have noticed that I have been biting my lips unintentionally, and it has helped to soothe and heal them quickly. In these instances, I have applied a coating of Lip Balm before bed and left it to work overnight. I think in the Winter months I will be reaching for this far more when my lips become chapped with the colder weather.

I have been really impressed with Kiehl's range so far and their products have swapped really well into my morning and evening skin routine. I'm looking forward to trying more of their products in the future, particularly from their haircare range. If you guys have any product recommendations, I would love to hear them in the comments.
